The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore has awarded a $590 million contract to KTC Civil Engineering and Construction for the design and construction of the Jurong Lake District MRT station and tunnels, part of Phase 2 of the Cross Island Line (CRL).
Construction will start in late 2024, with the station set to open in 2032. The CRL, Singapore’s eighth MRT line, will enhance connectivity across the island, particularly linking major hubs like Jurong Lake District, Punggol Digital District, and Changi.
