Indonesia’s Investment Minister, Rosan Roeslani, is working to increase Singapore’s investment in Indonesia to over US$63.17 billion (approximately Rp979 trillion). During his visit to Singapore, Rosan will meet Prime Minister Lawrence Wong to discuss enhancing investments and cooperation in key areas such as natural resources downstream, clean energy, and human resources development.
Singaporean Investment
Rosan’s agenda includes meetings with Singaporean business leaders and companies like SP Group, SingTel, Sembcorp, and ST Telemedia Global Data Center to explore opportunities in power grids, infrastructure, solar power, and data centers. Singapore remains Indonesia’s largest investor, contributing US$4.6 billion in Q2 2024 and accounting for nearly 30% of total foreign investment in Indonesia from 2019 to June 2024.
