Trip.com Group and the Zhoushan Municipal Development and Reform Commission have launched the “Hello Zhoushan” YOYO series to promote island tourism and enhance Zhoushan’s global brand influence. This initiative, part of a broader strategy begun in 2023, focuses on high-quality tourism development tailored to each island’s unique offerings.

The colorful YOYO-themed campaign features playful cartoon images of Trip.com’s mascot, encouraging exploration of local culture and activities, such as cuisine, sports, and fishing. Key objectives include increasing brand visibility, driving customer traffic, and boosting consumer spending, particularly targeting the Gen Z market.

The collaboration will include online marketing campaigns and offline events to enhance Zhoushan’s appeal. Additionally, training programs for local homestays will improve hospitality services. Trip.com Group aims to leverage partnerships to further expand Zhoushan’s tourism, driving transformative growth in the region.
