Singapore’s tourism sector recorded S$23.9 billion (about RM74 billion) in spending between January and September 2025, a 6.5 per cent increase year-on-year, putting the country on track for one of its strongest tourism years yet, according to data from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

Singapore tourism spending surges

Tourism receipts were boosted by strong performances in sightseeing, entertainment and food and beverage sectors, with Mainland China and Indonesia among the top spending markets

STB expects international visitor numbers and total tourism receipts to continue trending upward in 2026, supported by new attractions and events aimed at enhancing the visitor experience.
