More than 1,000 general practitioner (GP) clinics in Singapore will remain open from Feb 16 to Feb 18 over the Chinese New Year period to provide medical care, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said, aiming to ensure continuity of basic health services for residents and visitors.

The MOH advised patients with minor ailments to seek care at GP or 24-hour clinics, while directing those with serious or life-threatening conditions such as chest pain or uncontrollable bleeding to hospital A&E departments.
Residents can use the GPGoWhere website to check opening hours and locations of the 1,095 participating clinics, and are urged to make appointments beforehand.
Singapore’s Ministry of Health says over 1,000 GP clinics will operate through the CNY holidays.
