With these additions, the group’s fleet will expand to 105 vessels, including 53 newbuildings currently under construction. The new vessels will be funded through equity co-investment and debt financing. Notably, the 49,800 DWT tankers will be methanol-fuel ready and meet Energy Efficiency Design Index Phase 3 standards. Executive Chairman and CEO Ren Yuanlin said the contracts align with the group’s strategy for efficiency, sustainability, and competitive pricing.
