Energy and Science Minister Tan See Leng said Singapore has diversified its fuel supply sources and built stockpiles to manage potential disruptions. The country imports natural gas from multiple regions and maintains reserves that power generators can use during emergencies.
Officials said these measures form part of Singapore’s “multiple lines of defence” strategy to ensure stable electricity supply despite global energy volatility.
