Singapore AI Tool Detects Heart Attack Damage in Under a Minute

Aspire, a business finance platform, has launched an AI-powered accounting service in Singapore, extending its offering beyond business payments into bookkeeping and reconciliation.

The service, called AspireBooks, is available to Singapore businesses for S$39 a month, with the first three months free, according to a Fintech News Singapore report published on 30 October.

What the platform does

AspireBooks uses AI to sort transactions, suggest accounting categories and tax treatments, and match payments to invoices and bills. Users review and approve the entries, and financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets and trial balances update as transactions are recorded.

The platform supports accounting in multiple currencies. Aspire plans to add a feature that lets businesses manage accounts for several entities, though no timing was given.

Through Aspire’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, users can ask questions about their financial statements in plain language and get recommendations based on their own financial data, the report said.

Built with local accountants

Aspire developed the service with Singapore Accountants, which contributed accounting expertise, helped keep the product in line with Singapore accounting standards and supported testing with customers.

The company’s own research found that 41% of its customers still handle bookkeeping manually, according to the report.

Andrea Baronchelli, Aspire’s co-founder and chief executive, said that with AspireBooks, “accounting happens as a natural part of running a business”.
